ISO 9001:2000 Certification

 

When building its manufacturing facilities, Emas Kiara included a comprehensive in-house laboratory for Quality Assurance.

Over the years, substantial investments have been made into getting the most modern test equipment to enable testing of a varied number of properties that are required to comply to customers’ specifications. This has resulted in the implementation of a complete QA System that governs the purchase of raw materials and through the manufacturing process, right up to final inspection before storage or shipping.

During the manufacturing process, the QC department constantly samples the production batches and conducts relevant tests and maintains a record of batch reference and related test results.

Emas Kiara Group has been awarded the prestigious ISO 9001:2000 Standard by an independent certified company, BVQI for the manufacturing of various geosynthetic products.

Additionally, tests at independent laboratories are also conducted where required by the client. These independent laboratories include SIRIM, University of Malaya, Productivity Standards Board (Singapore), British Textile Technology Group (UK) and ERA Technology (UK).
